Studies show that teachers make the biggest difference in a student’s outcome, regardless of any other circumstance (economic background, class size, etc). Intel is helping to empower these teachers with the tools they need to inspire a new generation.

PREPARING THE INNOVATION GENERATION

Our documentary featuring teachers, kids and education experts and focuses in on three ‘hero’ schools: two in the US and one in China. Through authentic dialogue with our cast, we’ll reveal why innovative thinkers are key to a successful future and how technology can support this global effort to transform education.

OAKLAND TECH

Oakland Tech is a 9th-12th public school that has been making major strides in implementing tech in the classroom and building a robust CS curriculum. Through design thinking, project-based work, and creative freedom, they’re transforming the traditional school model. PCs are empowering students here to create solutions and innovate products tailored to their unique challenges and interests.

DESIGN 39

Design39Campus is an innovative TK-8 school that incorporates design thinking into its teachings. Megan Power is an educator and Intel customer there who has eagerly been testing new technology in the classroom, from PCs to robotics to VR. Megan demonstrates how collaborative software like Unite helps her young students present their work, communicate, and challenge each other.

FORERUNNER COLLEGE

HTC Vive’s China region president has spent the past two years implementing VR headsets on Core i7 PCs into schools in rural provinces. As a result, research studies have already been conducted showing an increase in student test scores and engagement. This school is an example where tech already exists in the classroom and have proven positive outcomes.
